Theresa Magistro wrote her first book at age 81, a biography of her mother, Antonetta Lombardi, an Italian immigrant who came to the United States as a young woman and built a strong family that endures today. A retired special education teacher, Theresa spent a decade gathering stories that she first told to her granddaughter about Antonetta, fought a battle against cancer and finally saw the book published in April 2026.
