Philadelphia author Charles Wiedenmann reads a portion of his new book of holiday-themed short stories, Holiday Hearts: Stories of Love and Cheer. The title speaks for itself. Some of his inspiration comes from his gig at a neighborhood hardware store.
We learn some of the musical history of Hanukkah with Dr. Hankus Netsky, a high school contemporary of mine, who is an internationally known expert on Jewish/Yiddish music. We play one or two famous Hanukkah tunes.
